Basic info

Monday badminton is played near Old Street, from 7pm till 10pm.

There are 2 courts from 7-10pm and another from 8-10pm and the club provides feather shuttlecocks.

Tube: Old Street (Northern Line), Barbican (Metropolitan & Circle Line), Angel (Northern Line).

Bus: 55 / 56/ 141 / 214 / 243 / 271 / 505 / 43 / 21 / 4.

Our players are intermediate (minimum B-) and upwards.  If you think you might be B- standard you are welcome to attend.  Our Thursday sessions may be more suitable if you are not B- standard.

New members, both men and women, are always welcome. Visitors to this session are not required to book.

Social

The evening is usually followed by social gathering in a pub called The Trader within walking distance from the sports centre.

Sports day and international tournament 2012

Each year Goslings sports club holds an informal tournament, followed by our AGM and party.  Our sports day this year is on June 16th.  More information is available.

We are excited to announce that in September 2012 we will also be celebrating 25 years of Goslings Sports Club and will be inviting our friends from around Europe and beyond for our international badminton tournament. 

The tournament will take place between September 21st and September 23rd 2012, at a brand new purpose-built badminton centre in Redbridge, near Fairlop tube station, which is a host practice site for Olympic athletes.
