The Goslings London Sports Club Sports Day & AGM 2011 has now concluded.

We're proud to announce that the Goslings London Sports Day and AGM will take place on Saturday 4th June 2011 at the Finsbury Leasure Centre.

The Sports day will be followed by our annual AGM & party at the Traders Arms Pub.

Cost of the tournament and party is £8. The party is just £5.

The Sports Day is on the 4th June 2011 to be held at the Finsbury Leisure Centre, Norman Street, London EC1V 3PU (http://www.aquaterra.org/finsbury-leisure-centre). Nearest tube is Old Street. The badminton tournament will be a fun "american style" tournament held between 12.00 - 18.00.

Please come to the Centre for at least 11.45, so we can register everybody and get ready to start playing at 12.00. It is an opportunity for everyone to meet members from different evenings and to play lots of different games against different people.

There will be fun prizes for the "winners". Please register and pay for the tournament at the evenings you normally attend. The organisers have further details and will take your applications. Swimmers should contact their committee to find out the arrangements for the swimming session that is planned.

After the tournament, we have booked our after tournament party at "The Trader", 144 Whitecross Street, London. EC1Y 8QJ. (map), from 6.30 - 23.00. It is a 5 minute wake away from the Sports Centre. There is a pool table, and weather permitting there will be a BBQ, food (including vegetarian options) provided. We will present the prizes for the "winners" here. We will also hold our annual AGM here, and it is with this in mind that I invite you to:

1. present topics for discussion and motions to be voted for at the AGM in accordance with section 29 of the Constitution, and
2. if you wish to stand for one of the sub-committee's of one of the badminton evenings or the swimming group, you have to send notification to me in accordance with sections 11 and 12 of the constitution. If no nominations are received, the existing committee members continue, unless they wish to resign.
